New Design for coins!

The new coin design as announced by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) will be out next year and this the third design series.

BNM Gorvernor said the design of 5 cent/10 cent/20 cent/ 50 cent coin was inspired from unique characteristics that design the country's culture and rich heritage. The design motive display the beauty of Malaysia's nature, flora & fauna and its traditional art of handicraft.

The gold and silver colored coins are made using latest advanced technology with better security features to avoid forgery.

This new coin series is smaller and lighter and have different edge side to facilitate public and those who are visually disabled to distinguish each coin.

KOTA KINABALU: A new zoning policy implemented by the Federal Tourism Ministry has caused dire impact on the livelihood of blue badge or seasoned tourist guides in Sabah.

According to Sabah Tourist Guides Association (STGA) honorary disciplinary officer Lillian Agama, tourist guides issued with the Blue Badge were previously free to guide anywhere in Malaysia, but are now limited to picking up tourists to and from the airports and hotels as well as conducting city tours.

They are no longer allowed to take the guests out of the city and this has caused the 300 odd blue badge guides to consider surrendering their badges in protest at the new policy which they deem to be highly restrictive and impractical in Sabah.

In the past, licensed tourist guides, after completing their course, were issued with a yellow badge for a two-year probationary period, after which they will be required to undergo a confirmation examination to qualify for the blue badge.

A tourist guide with a blue badge could conduct tours all over the state even in Peninsular Malaysia then.
However, a few years ago, the Tourism Ministry introduced the green badge which is meant to legalise mountain guides or those who take tourists on nature tours.
This was accepted with a pinch of salt as some of these people were indeed well versed with the nature and areas they guided in.

However, of late, a new policy pertaining to zoning according to the colour of the badges was implemented and this has caused much confusion among the tourist guides in Sabah.

It has also caused much inconvenience as there have been instances of action being taken against blue badge guides because they were transferring their guests to Kinabalu Park.

Lillian said the issue is all about the badge and zoning policies that were formulated in the peninsula without prior consideration of the situation in Sabah.

“It may work well there but in Sabah it does not,” she said after a dialogue between about 100 tour guides and Tourism Malaysia officers over the issue here yesterday.

For example, she said one of the complications due to the new ruling is that only blue badge guides could pick up guests from the airports and send them to the hotels, but blue badge guides could not take the guests out from the city.

Green badge guides are allowed to take the guests to a place of interest, say Kinabalu Park highlands but not beyond that due to the zoning restrictions, thus another tour guide is needed to bring the tourists beyond that point as a replacement.

“Such ruling requires a change of guide, maybe three or four times and this is not good for our source of income and it also affects the guide-guest relationship,” Lillian said.

“We are pushed into a corner. What we want is just one colour badge and if we can’t get that we might just hand in our licences altogether,” she said.

Their grouses have not fallen on deaf ears as state Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun is backing the STGA on their request.

“They have approached me for assistance and we have asked the Federal Tourism Director of Sabah to sort it out with her bosses in Kuala Lumpur. In fact the issue has been outstanding for some time and the Tourism Ministry, being the licensing authority, is aware of it.

“I understand their problem and fully support their request. The problem arose because the licensing authority insists on its ‘one-fits-all’ policy. It does not work in Sabah and it is my sincere hope that the federal Ministry of Tourism will review its policy on this particular issue in Sabah,” he said.

6th Sabah International Folklore Festival 2011

Sabah Cultural Board is organizing its 6th Sabah International Folklore Festival starting from 19th to 24th of July with folkart exhibition and the local & international folkdance competition which will be held at the Sabah Cultural Centre, Penampang. There will also be pocket show at Centre Point and 1Borneo during this festival. check the schedule here for the dates and time of the folkart exhibition and pocket show----> Sabah International Folklore Festival

If you are interested to watch the competition, tickets are sold to public and you can get them from Sabah Cultural Board Office or Sabah Cultural Centre, Penampang.

For the local folkdance competition on 20 & 21 July, tickets are sold at RM10.00 for Adult and RM5.00 for children under 17 years old.

For the International folkdance competition on 23 & 24 July, ticket price are RM50.00 for premier class, RM30.00 for adult and RM10.00 for children under 17 years old.

Hi guys...just got back from Adelaide...no pictures to show except for the beach in Glenelg (haven't downloaded it from my camera). it was so hot in Adelaide reaching to 47 degrees the first day i arrived. couldn't really go anywhere because of the heat. bought some chocolates but half of it melted before i could reach the apartment we stayed in, so you can imagine how hot it was, hehehe...i wanted to give it to Daphne yg minta ole2 but sorry la Daphne, no luck for you this time, hehe...i'm just happy to be back in KK!!

A new beginning to a new year...Actually i was not in a really good mood to welcome the new year but i kept saying i don't want anything to ruin it and have tried really really hard to be positive of things going towards me.

I will always cherish the memories of last year and remembering the people around me which will always be in my heart. So now i'm opening a new file which of course goes with a new wish list for 2009:

2. Exercising and do more activities - do more diving and sports (i.e futsal, basketball), then this year i want to climb Mt. Kinabalu. friends say it a shame if you work in STB and promoting Mt. K but you have never climb to the top before. :p

we started our Sports Day early November...the first day i was already injured... i could not walk for two days...thanks to my dearest friend who came to visit me, hehe...here's the pics of my swollen ankle...

my activities were quite limited during my recovery time...friends says it can take up to 3 months to fully recover from a twisted ankle....gosh...

mid November was actually a shitty period (sorry for the bad word) but was also a blessed one for me...came out and back in a relationship in a flash...i know what people might say, well of course all the bad things will definitely point towards me...but if i want to lead a wonderful and happy life, who cares what people talks about you...that's reality, people only wants to hear the other side of the story...

Aug/Sept/Oct

Went to a Familiarization trip with Sabahan reporters in Manila...spent 4 days 3 nights there...everyday felt tired bcos we only came back to our hotel around 11pm...only on the last night we came back early to the hotel...of course the guys went to the casino every night while the ladies have their rest, but the last night i wanted to experience the night life in Manila, so went out with a few of the guys...here are some pics from our Manila FAM trip...

After coming back from Manila, was busy again with our International Climbathon event followed by our National Day... No pics on Climbathon coz did not bring my camera along...

September was a quiet month for me la...hehe...the only thing was i started to exercise and jog to prepare for the Borneo International Marathon in October...and also it was the fasting month for the Muslims...

October, our office started training for Sports Day. i participated in the Borneo International Marathon but only the 10k run and clocked 1 hour and 20 minutes. I also went to Singapore for the Travel Malaysia Fair in October...

May/June/July

May is the Harvest Festival month!! we started off with our Sabah Fest (which is held every year), showcasing our traditional dances and culture as well as handicrafts and food.

In June, we had the Dragon Boat Race. More info here.

For the first time ever, i get to experience Paintball fight...hahaha...

Rinto juga la yg paling lengkap pakaian...mcm SWAT team pulak, hehehe...

In July, took one week leave and spend my holiday in Bangkok with mom and sis, Daisy...

Summary of 2008 Part 2

February/March/April

After my Adelaide trip, i was busy with a few photography trips to Kudat, Sandakan, Tawau, Semporna, Kundasang and Keningau. Went to Kudat to visit the Honey Bee Farm - Kg. Gombizau, the Gong making village - Kg. Sumangkap and to one of the long houses for Rie's story on Kudat in Nanyo Elite magazine, a Japanese magazine in Singapore.

My next photography trip was to SDK/TWU/SEMPORNA. We were instructed to take photos of the historical sites. Went to Agnes Keith House, Batu Tulug and Bukit Tengkorak. we travelled by road and it was fun, making up games along the way. Unfortunately, i did not bring my camera along, only Rinto and Maps (our photographers). On our way back, we manage to find time to visit Madai Caves. The people in charge of taking care of the place were very friendly and helpful.

For our next assignment, we went to Tambunan, Keningau and Tenom. we visited Mahua waterfalls, TVRC, Mat Salleh Memorial, Murut Cultural Centre and Sabah Agriculture Park. But our main purpose was to do hotel inspection, so we paid a visit to almost all the hotels there.

i brought my 1001 Sudoku along with me and Yahya is trying to solve one puzzle while waiting for Maps to take pictures of the hotel in Keningau.

Had another photography trip to Twu/Semporna by land. But we also went to Lahad Datu to do hotel inspection and stayed at Lahad Datu for one night before heading to Tawau/Semporna for the same purpose. We also went to Regatta Lepa and headed off to Pom Pom Island for inspection. we did our dive there but spent the night at Mataking. the next day, we had one more dive at Mataking before going back to Semporna. the dive in Mataking was good compared to Pom Pom.

Had to take out 1 kg coz i had difficulty controlling my buoyancy

January / February 2008

The start of 2008 was a good one for me...

To begin with, we had the famous Japanese K-1 Fighters visiting Sabah - Musashi, Mori Tomoyuki and Yasuhiro Kazuya. Well even the Japanese tourists were so happy to see them in KK, especially Musashi. More info on K-1 here.

After the K-1 , we had a TV crew who came in to shoot an educational TV program targeting to teenagers where they focused on homestays. I was actually the one who was in charge of arranging their ground arrangement. Unfortunately i do not have any pictures because i was so bz with work at the office and did not have time to follow the crew around. Anyways, the TV program called Teen Explorers can be viewed in RTM2, every Saturday at 7pm, if i'm not mistaken, hehe...

Jan/Feb was the best month ever coz i get to travel to Australia...which i've been wanting to do but no budget. Luckily there was a shortage of staff in our office during that period of time and i was instructed to go to Australia for a travel show. Here are some of the pics during my duty travel in Adelaide, Australia.

old friends are always asking me, how's life? or how have you been living your life so far? and my answer would always be "so far so good" or "I'm enjoying every bit of it"... but the question is... am i really doing so far so good and enjoying my life... of course the answer would be NO... well, that's just it, life has its ups and downs, sometimes we can be extremely happy when every little thing falls into the right place...but always bear in mind, things can always go wrong at any moment... and i obviously wasn't prepared... one moment you are so happy with your life and the next moment you become sad and pathetic ... happy then sad which is followed by guilt, what a terrible feeling and i hate it!!! some people are really good in playing with people's mind... i just hope i will be able to get through this...

Fever? what fever? hehehe... my Sudoku fever is back and i've started playing Sudoku again after resting for a few months... so obsess in the 1001 Sudoku, which has 1001 puzzles.

my brain is probably a bit rusty at the moment so have to sharpen up the thinking and solving...

So far since early this year, i've manage to complete 500 puzzles, that makes it another 501 puzzles more to go...will i be able to finish it before end of the year? will see... :)

Last week updates

Thursday:
Futsal training again, my muscles was still in pain but manage to kick the ball without causing much pain. Then went to aramaiti at Friends, hehe...

Friday:
Took emergency leave today...but still went to the office around 4.30pm to finish up some urgent work, then went to dinner with the some media from KL before heading to Hunters to meet up with Ivan, a Singaporean writer cum photographer. Ivan showed me some of his underwater pictures, i was quite impress with his latest idea of taking underwater pictures. Feel like wanting to dive after not diving for a while... at 12 midnight, Akbal join us for a while before heading back home at 1.30am...

Saturday:
Suppose to go to Rasa Ria to do a photo shoot but it started raining at dawn and didn't stop raining the whole day, had to cancel the shoot. didn't know what to do the whole day, so just watch DVD and sleep, hehehe... at nite, had dinner with Indonesian media, their flight was delayed so had a late dinner with them at 10pm. after dinner, head on to Hunters again for a drinking session with Ivan, and two other friends, Leonard and Alvin.

Sunday:
Went to Tenom to challenge the rapids of Padas River...Arrived Tenom around 12 noon and took the train to the starting point. Upon arrival, had refreshment before wearing our life jackets and helmets on. We were briefed by the guide on the techniques and safety before heading off. Was quite excited on this whole thing. We challenged rapids through rapids and getting excited when we see big rapids ahead of us. we even purposely flip our boat to experience how it feels like...then we didn't want to climb back and just swam until we saw rapids ahead of us and we had to climb back to our boat... it was such a good experience and we promise to come back again...hopefully...

today is my elder sister's birthday...i did wish her happy birthday, hehehe...actually i nearly forgotten her birthday today, hehehe...although sometimes she's annoying (asking stupid questions really annoys me) but i still love her...she's the rajin type, always cleans the house, wash the laundry, fold the clothes and does not like to see messy rooms...hehehe, she always cleans my room for me when we were still kids/teenagers la...she looks like mummy a lot, probably because she's first born...now she's married with two cute kids...only one thing she's lazy and not really good at...cooking...hehehe, maybe because her husband is a chef so she does not bother thinking of cooking...well that's my sister...

Fuhh...today has been a fun but painful day...went to stadium for the final selection of 400m, 4x400m and 800m... and got selected for all three categories... i had cramped legs after running the 4x100m, i'm not a sprint runner... just because the runner that was suppose to run did not come, so i had to replace her for the training...menyesal pula tau...

then had futsal training lg at 4pm, damn my legs were killing me, i can't even chase after the ball, can't run fast and can't even kick the ball properly...hahaha... tu la berabis punya psl la ni...nasib today i'm on leave, but tomorrow start work, huahuahua....

It's good to be back home... miss KK and the fun around KK the last few days when I was in Singapore, came back feeling stress... I'm going to take leave for tomorrow before thinking of tons of work I left at the office. I can just imagine the work waiting for me at my desk on wednesday... Tomorrow morning, will be going to the final selection at stadium for 400m, 800m, 4x400m. Also, can't wait for futsal training in the afternoon. That's another way to get rid of stress for one day at least before getting and building more... Hehehe...will be having a sweaty and tiring day tomorrow...gud nite!!

Will be going to Singapore tomorrow...so this blog will be quiet for a few days...just an update on things...this past few days have been really busy...

Sunday:
Join the Borneo International Marathon but only participated in the 10k run...clock a time of 1 hour and 20 minutes...it was a fun experience, will definitely be joining next year...

At night, went to celebrate Rinto's birthday at Welcome Seafood Restaurant...had a really nice dinner...yummy yummy...

Monday:
Been very busy from morning till afternoon till evening...so sad could not go for the sports tryouts...but still got a chance on Tuesday before i go to Singapore on Wednesday...

Today - Tuesday:
A tiring day for me. Went for the tryouts...wow, mau pecut pun mcm berat jak kaki, but still manage to finish the 400m. After tryouts, quickly went to the gym and had my bath before heading to Atmosphere for lunch.

Then ada futsal lg, it was fun playing with colleagues...hehehe...but couldn't make it for Thursday's futsal training...

will be back on Monday next week!!!

My kaki2 minum invited me to Djunction for the celebration of OctoberFest..free flow of beer and food starting from 6.00pm till 9.00pm for RM68/person (if i'm not mistaken)...well, because of my determination to not drink and be a good girl for this few weeks to come, i politely decline her invitation...i can see it in her face that she was kind of dissapointed with me...sorry girl but i have a goal to achieve within this month and the months to come...maybe i can drink one or two times this month and not 2-3 times a week! Anyway, enjoy and have fun! takkan i'm not around pun u guys cannot have fun kan...

Borneo Marathon

This weekend i will be participating in the Borneo Marathon...NO, I'm not running in the full marathon or the half marathon...I'm running for the 10K run, i know my limits, hehe, i just hope i don't give up during the run and regret participating in it...have to really motivate myself, no drinking for the whole week...i have to be very strict on this. healthy food, regular exercise...blah blah blah...

so what did i do during the weekend...
Saturday:
Went with a friend to her boyfriend's open house in the afternoon.
At nite, a friend from college / ex housemate during college invited to her open house. also got invitation to go bowling. didn't know which i should go, at last decided to go to the friend's open house because i don't get to see her very often.

Reach her house and a few other ex housemates was already there...gosh its been a long time since we guys met. Gave them keychain souvenirs from Australia and Manila, kept the souvenirs for a long time because didn't have the time to meet and give it to them. Sorry guys, did not buy anything for you guys from Bangkok.

We gossip and talk of friends as well as about ourselves. had a very good laugh with them. haven't been laughing like this in such a long time. of course, there's always the bonus question "when are you going to get married?"..haha..well one of these friends of mine recently just got married and now those who are not even engaged is being asked the same question over and over again...

well, as a conclusion, they are my circle of friends that i can get a good laugh with anytime...

Morning went to the gym...
Then went to the ofice to do some work..
Went home and watch Rosario Vampire..
Wanted to go jogging around 3pm but it started to rain, so sad...
At night went bowling with colleagues...
Then went to Djunction to hang out with two other friends, just drinking Long Island tea and having small talk with the friend who just broke up with her bf, well that was the main reason she wanted to go out, to talk about her failed relationship and i'm there to comfort her. We didn't stay long, around 12 midnight, three of us headed home...

Tomorrow a lot invitation to raya open house from KK all the way to Ranau. But i don't think i want to go to Ranau, just going to the ones around KK. Today pun ada invitation, but because i'm working today, so couldn't go, sorry sabrina and bb, maybe next year la.

Tomorrow nite pulak, bowling session with the gang...hehe...but feel sad if i can't make it for the friendly match with Sarawak Tourism Board...just got news from Marketing telling me that probably i have to go for duty travel since there's no officer from Marketing (all busy with other travel shows/fairs in other places). If my boss approve then i can go la, another opportunity for me to travel, :)

Drinking session with the girls last nite was quite fun without the guys, hehe... We started quite early around 8pm and was drunk by 11pm. The big boss join us around 10 and bought 2 more bottles of chivas for us after we finish 2 bottles before he came. He was the only man in our group that nite and I get to duet with him, hehe. While drinking and having fun, a few guys came to our table trying to get free drinks from the boss (ambil kesempatan la tu). But what I was so piss off was someone from another table send his/her bill to ours and ask the boss to pay, we told him not to, but I guess he was drunk and said its ok, he will just pay. Betul2 ambil kesempatan itu orang, geramnya! Not only that, some guy tried to pull me to his table, he thinks I'm what?! I push him and quickly walk and stand near the boss. We left about 10 minutes to 1am and three of us girls went to eat before heading for home.

Today, went to Nurul's hari raya open house with Aneurin. Tomorrow, will go to Zarinah's open house, hehe..

After resting for three nights from drinking, went for a drink with friends last night. and tonight the girls are also going out for a drinking session in Donggongon. coz tomorrow is a holiday, so i don't mind going out again as long as i have enough sleep...the guys are going bowling tonight, i'll join them next time...

Today, started going to the gym again after a one week rest. then went to work around 8.30am... got a phone call from SMC to pick up my medical report, was nervous and excited at the same time, well thank God everything is normal, I'm considered healthy, hehe...

We had netball practice at 3pm but we arrived quite late because of the massive traffic jam in KK, everyone is out to buy things and prepare for the raya celebration, probably ada juga yang turun dari kampung, hehe...

Haven't played netball in such a long time, the last time i remember was in 1998, that's 10 years ago, wow... have to sharpen my skills...it's a good feeling to sweat and release all the stress from work...

I've been feeling very depressed lately and i just don't know why...Feels like something is missing in my life...or maybe i just hate the way I'm living my life...Sometimes i try to use the phrase "live life to the fullest" as a motivation but it will only last for like...a day?

Probably GOD is the answer...I have not gone to church in a very very long time...Yes, will go to church next Saturday...

Went for a photoshoot today at Monsopiad Cultural Village. It's not that tiring though, just helping the kids in their traditional costume and tell them to smile and pose...and there's this cute boy, Somonih's son, he's so CUTE!! feel like pinching his chubby cheeks...

After the photoshoot, went back to the office to do some work, then went to Little Italy with Maps for a late lunch...

Wondering why i said there's still a chance? well, the volleyball team leader told me he's giving another try out, so yes! i still have a chance, if I'm good enough, i can join the team...hehehe...i just hope that I'm not busy at that time...

Next week there will be a try out for the netball team, but what i am really looking forward to is the futsal try outs...really can't wait!

Not feeling well

Last night, the big boss invite to Friends karaoke for a drinking session. So, went back home, bath and took a 30 minutes nap before going off to Friends.

Didn't get to sing much caused the place was full of everyone wanting to sing...few incidents happen, hehe, i was in a blur when they announce that it was tracey's birthday, what?!! it wasn't even her birthday! haha and so she was forced to drink the tower of beer, and also a girl sitting at our table (i don't know her name and i didn't bother to ask) fell to the floor exposing her panty (she was too drunk). Overall of that night drinking session : i didn't enjoy it at all!

Well, just a few shots of whiskey and i was drunk, that was when my gastric came, my tummy was in pain, it was because i drank with an empty stomach, did not eat before i went to Friends. Damn the pain was killing me... so told my friend i'm going to sneak out and go home. Didn't want to tell them, takut tidak kena kasi balik, haha.. another friend invite to R&B but i just couldn't stand my tummy pain. if i wasn't in pain, i would definitely still want to party!

Doreen sms me and i know she must be very mad because i didn't tell her that i was going home, i didn't even bother to reply her message. got a few calls as well but i seriously did not hear my phone ring. My sister was quite annoyed, she told me my phone didn't stop ringing and it bothered her.

Woke up in the morning, feeling like wanted to throw up, i think it was the effect of drinking on an empty stomach. went to the office late and a few colleagues took sick leave today. They must be drinking like hell last night.

luckily i can still do work in this not so well condition of mine, i even regret drinking last night, not a good feeling...and tonight still have to work, got a photoshoot to do at Kg. Nelayan, then there's bowling at 9pm..fuh...hope i still have the energy.

Updates on our sports training, the badminton and volleyball team has undergone their selection of players. i didn't had the chance to even go for the try outs because of the tons of work to be settled at the office especially now my boss is on raya leave.

The only happy thing today is eating japanese food during lunch at Hana restaurant in City Mall...yummy yummy..:)

It's been a week since i last updated this blog...

Friday:
My friend celebrated her birthday at Rawk, Donggongon and beg me to go even though i did not want to because i have to fetch my bf at the airport at 12 midnight. She insisted so i said yes but told her i'm only going to be there for a short while.

Went to Rawk at 10pm, drank a few glasses and dance a little and left after wishing her Happy Birthday...

Saturday & Sunday:
Spend time with my bf for two days...went to 1Borneo and he said it was boring (Yes, i know la he "loves" KL).

We cook at my place and watch movies he downloaded. Gosh..it's been a long time since the last time we did things together.

At night, went to meet his cousins and uncle. They said they are going to Upperstar to watch the football match but i didn't feel like joining them so i went home and he stayed with them.

Went home, took a bath and then watch a movie for a while...hmm...feel bored...then my friend sms me to go out to Friends...so, went out and enjoyed that nite...

Monday:
In the morning, was late going to Majlis Penyerahan Kuih Raya at the foundation building and I was so sleepy i wish i didn't have to attend the event but was already text by the boss to attend, like it or not i had to go...

After the event, came back to the office and was sick...my tummy hurts a lot, first day of period, can't stand the pain so i went back home and slept the whole afternoon.

Went bowling with friends last nite...feels so good since i haven't played since 1998?

Actually the guys are training for the forthcoming friendly match with the Sarawak Tourism Board. Maybe if i train enough i can join the team, hehe... not to forget the coming Sports Day also has a bowling tournament :)

On Monday, my friend (which i mention earlier in my previous entry) finally rang me up after 7 months of silence...anyway, i've gotten used to his style of keeping in touch with friends, but i'm happy that he called me :)..he asked what will i be doing that nite, sadly i have already other plans to celebrate a friends birthday and also Malaysia Day, so i invited him to join us (even though i know he won't come)...he said he will call me if he decided to turn up..

So me and my friends went quite early to Friends to at least sing a few songs before people come filling up the place. i was hoping that he will turn up but sadly did not...he text me to tell me that if i can go back early, we can meet up..sorry its not easy to just leave my friends there..so he said maybe next time..hmm, wondering when will that next time be?

At midnite, decided to wish a few friends Happy Malaysia Day and that was the nite i had a few burns on my arms and a scratch on my leg. Thanks Doreen for the cigarette burns :) and damn the guy whose glass fell to the floor and hurt me!!

well,i enjoyed that nite, only i made someone really mad at me...and now we are not in good terms...tomorrow will be the last day i can 'pujuk' him...

Last friday, had a few invitation to hang out with colleagues and friends, ada yang bawa pigi main bowling, c francis bawa p DJunction and big boss PV bawa minum di Friends.... Sorry aneurin terpaksa reject your bowling invitation sebab tidak best bah kalau kita dua jak, hehehe ramai2 baru best..

anyway, after much thinking where should i hang out that friday nite, i decided to go to Friends because mau nyanyi konon, so told francis i cannot go to Djunction(another reason i didn't want to go to DJunction is because my brother is working that nite, so nanti kena tgk2 pula nnt). Sampai di Friends, kena punish pula sebab lambat datang, kena suruh one shot, one shot...at least i got to sing a few songs juga la, hahaha...After drinking and drinking some more... i was drunk and don't remember a few things i did that nite, only i feel foolish the next day... oh God! what have i done?! people will think i feel desperate and that makes me feel like a fool! I need to control myself... after my friend's birthday party next monday, i think i'll be resting for a while from drinking...

He's coming home...

After months and months just sms and talking on the phone, at last his coming home but only for Raya. I should be thankful that at least i get to see him. He will be in Sabah maybe for 3-4 weeks, but of course he's not always gonna be with me, he will want to spend time with his family as well, hope we can at least spend 1 week together... maybe i should take leave during that time.

Thinking of him coming home just makes me nervous and excited!...i haven't seen him for such a long time and how should i react when i meet him at the airport? hug him and kiss him?

I just can't wait!

Sports Day!!

Yeah! Sports day is finally materializing, will be held early November... this is another reason why i should start exercising and training myself..haha... at least i have already started before i heard this good news...

Another happy news is mum's coming to KK and will be staying with us for a few nights, a lot of things to talk about with her since i haven't 'balik kampung' for months now. Miss her so much... i haven't got the chance to see my new born nephew.. miss dad so much, hope he's doing well over there, they keep asking when am i going back to kampung, :( miss all my family, especially my cute and chubby niece (coz she reminds me of 'me')

Friends or just another phase...

Some people at some point will try to move another step forward in their lives intentionally or unintentionally leaving behind the people that they have consider once as a friend, as though these friends are just another phase in their lives.

I think myself as "another phase" to some of those people I consider my friends. At some point, they stop to call you or text you, though we understand maybe they're busy but what's with not replying your text at all, if you don't want to hang out together that's fine, at least tell me that you're ok and doing well with your life over there, hello?? Sometimes it does hurt when you think about it, weren't you good enough for them till they don't want to be in touch with you ever again??

At one time, it feels everyday you are messaging each other even though not seeing very often, and the next thing you know, after about 6 to 8 months, he suddenly calls you up in the middle of the night asking are you a sleep or not, and lying to him so he doesn't feel guilty of waking you up, you replied "no, I'm still awake!", a few minutes later feeling it was like eternity, he calls you to talk about how stress he is with his work and life, and there you are listening to him, as a good friend should, :) well those days are gone and I really miss hearing his voice, so sad when you think about it, its been more than a year since I met him and the last time I remember he sms me was on his birthday, now my sms are not replied at all, wanted to call but he's the kind that calls people and does not answer calls...he's a very very good friend and it's just sad some friendship won't last forever.

That was just an example of a friend, there are lots more, but it would take forever to tell it all, so to my friends out there, maybe I'm just a phase in your happy lives but you guys are still my friends until today, I will be happy to hear from you guys soon, if ever...I hope...

Think Positive vs. Negative

I'm just so sorry with how I've been leading my life...always keep asking the same old question over and over again, "am I in the right direction?" Not so sure right now hey..there are times when I would say to myself I wanna live life to the fullest and there are times when I feel like I don't wanna live anymore...sometimes it feels good to be around good friends sharing laughs together and sometimes you just want to be alone, feeling depressed in your own room.

I wish so hard that everyday I get to enjoy what I'm doing but not today, this morning I feel happy to be working with colleagues that are fun to be with, then I came home feeling sad for no reason, maybe it's just me thinking negative things, well I don't know, some people say follow what your heart says but sometimes it can maybe be wrong to think that way, shouldn't we be thinking rational than following what we feel? What if by following your heart leads you in making the wrong decisions? Then the guilts come and I'm sure I can't bear with the guilty feelings, telling me why did I not think rationally in the 1st place? When it does, you just feel sorry for yourself but nothing can be done about it

Though through it all, there's still hope out there somewhere someday and we will find it eventually...just trying to think positive in the end :) damn does that feel good?

Last nite i went out with a reporter friend (when i actually promise myself that i will stay home and rest)... went to D Junction, guess who did i saw there, my colleague Dann...i didn't went and greet him, only wave from a far, then i went to Rumba before heading back home i think almost 3 a.m. if im not mistaken, hehe.

so, im just saying that i should be getting back to my old life, going out to drink once in a while for fun and not every nite...i dont want to be an alcoholic...

Wednesday Nite

My colleagues haven't stop talking of the nite we had so much fun, i was satisfied coz i got to sing a lot of songs that nite (heheh..we came early). we were actually there to celebrate our colleague's birthday but the birthday girl came late, but at least she came. after hours of partying at a place called Friends in Donggongon, i had to send my friend home bcoz he was not fit to drive his car.

I really did enjoy myself that wednesday nite... :p

I feel so bored doing nothing at home, feel like going out for a drink and karaoke. Text my friends but all not responding or had something else to do, and so I'm here watching TV, so bored!!! I'm also not satisfied I didn't get to sing during our climbathon celebration at Cempaka bcos I was so drunk, I can't even remember what I've done there, hope nothing bad, :p.

Hmmm...so what should I do, probably I'll just read the book I borrowed from Maps "Millie's Fling" and hope I get excited reading it.

I'm mad about batik!!

Its long since i started to blog again...and actually starting on a new fresh blog...one way to express what i feel about life.. As this is my first entry for this year, i'm going to talk why i'm so pissed off with this batik thingy.

Our office has made Thursday a Batik Day and all of us are actually required to wear batik, hmmm... Sometimes if i 'rajin' then i'll wear batik, but most of the time, i won't, hahaha... we even have a notice reminder near the punch in/out machine to remind everyone that Thursday is Batik Day! This is still fine for me...

What i can't accept is...i'm wearing a yellow batik shirt for our 31 Aug Merdeka March!! And yellow is NOT MY COLOR!! what makes me more mad is that the shirt is ugly!! Its like a guys shirt!! oh damn, what to do, guess i'll just have to throw it out after the Merdeka March. To be honest, the motives are really nice, it suits our theme, flora and fauna, only i dont like the style at all...and to think i'll be a laughing stock at the march, how UNLUCKY ME! :((
